JJ Husker
I learned a lot today.....None of it good. This rebuilding job is going to be a lot tougher and take much longer than I thought. Positive changes in the culture are nice but not of much use until it translates to the field. We are screwed without Martinez. The lack of a QB room is a huge problem. Getting bowl eligible will take a miracle, even with scheduling a replacement for the Akron game. Don’t see it happening. There are no gimmies on our schedule if we can’t stop stopping ourselves. The improvements on our offensive line have been greatly exaggerated. Terrible outing by that group. Chinander channeled his inner Craig Bohl and had no answer for simple delayed runs right up the gut. Stupid penalties, turnovers and lackadaisical effort. That’s no way to go through life son. 4 Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
1. Frost and his staff are way overrated. The offensive play calling was off the whole game. It's as though Frost called the exact opposite plays of what were needed throughout the game. 2. The offensive line continues its poor performance that occurred under the Riley era 3. The overall teams mental toughness is horrible 4. Special teams is a disaster. 2 1 2 Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Sun Belt teams can make big plays against the D. Ohio State will have a field day Kicker spot needs more competition QB play is pure trash Frost can't exist in 100 degree heat Quote Link to comment

Red_Payne
I learned we can't overcome early turnovers. We also learned that we can't overcome late mistakes. We learned we can't win if we make a lot of mistakes. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
No need to reschedule Akron 1 1 Quote Link to comment
DrunkOffPunch
Bunch couldn’t read the field. Missed zone reads and open receivers. Doesn’t have the speed or arm talent to overcome those deficiencies. Quote Link to comment
The Murphinator
This rebuild will take a very long time. Bunch is not good. Quote Link to comment

moveitforward
Troy players are too young to remember when we were a good team. We were just another team on their schedule, they showed up and beat us. Not complicated. Quote Link to comment
r06ue1
Mother Nature set the stage for this season with the cancellation of a sure win (and yes, we would have won) against Akron. With that missed game, Colorado was able to take advantage of rust on our part and also play dirty and hurt the only QB on the staff which set the tone for this loss. Bunch is not a starter on any major team in the country yet we were stuck with what we had. He wasn't the only cause but he played a major role in it. We will get better but it will be a rough season folks. 1 Quote Link to comment
