Moiraine
We won't be a .500 team if Martinez doesn't get healthy and play the rest of the games. Just sayin'. 3 Quote Link to comment
louisianared
Going to take a while but I suspect we will have some positive moments this year Quote Link to comment
Crusader Husker
Won’t go 6-6. 1 Quote Link to comment
LumberJackSker
It would take an act of god for Nebraska to win 6 out of 9 games Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
We aren't getting any extra practices this year and I also think playing this poorly currently WILL hurt recruiting. There's no way we go bowling after today with our Oline, turnovers, penalties, etc. Quote Link to comment
BoNeyard
Keep your heads up. Riley ain't our coach and we have Frost. Things will get better. 5 Quote Link to comment

Some got carried away in the off season hype, but in reality, this season was at best 5-6 wins. Remember we are coming off a 4 win awful season. There is so much to change that it realistically can't be changed in just one offseason. 2 2 Quote Link to comment
funhusker
I would really like to peak into that alternative universe that allowed NU to play and beat Akron in week 1. I truly think fans would be a lot happier in that realm. But, them's the breaks.... Quote Link to comment

CheeseHusker
Wasn't Alvarez 1-10? Unfortunately that might be more in play at this point. 1 Quote Link to comment

I realize I’m a bit peeved right now, but I just want to point out that “Just sayin’” is the most pointless expression in the History of the English Language. It adds nothing to your comment or your ability to wiggle out from responsibility for what you said before it. It lowers the public perception of your IQ by any number of points (and never RAISES IT). 2 2 Quote Link to comment
HuskerPowerVA
No choice but to be positive. Does anyone think Frost is in trouble? LOL. Only fools thought this team was only tougher weight room workouts, nostalgic images of nineties success and intense locker room talks were going to turn this around in a year. A new system can take more time than a new culture. We need both. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
