Thanks, that makes a ton of sense. A student our family loves is in the Band at University of Nebraska (had to spell it out as confused on "allowed" abbreviations. There are so many reasons why I love our head coach's way of doing things. He has been there for the band practices and joked around with our family friend. The band works very hard. I am glad they get the attention sometimes.

Does any one know if Neb is "rare" in having players in the locker room during its playing? Is the" NFL way" to have all the players out on the field? (I do not watch the NFL and the college games rarely show the Nat Anthem) Also asking does the radio coverage play the anthem? Not "trolling" just curious? Is that allowed?

I assume with no media frenzy , the Neb players were not on the field for the national anthem at Indiana?

In other news....................... Youngstown State led by former Coach Buffoon Pelini and his brother Butt Munch Pelini beat Robert Morris 38-6. Many players were yelled at. Many refs were yelled at. The media was treated rudely. And I did not give a s###. ............................neither does the rest of the college football world.

Tom also had just lost the primary for Governor to Dave Heineman.............Dave Heineman. Heineman does the impossible....more of a weasel than Steve Pederson. Osborne was a great coach.

I unfortunately read a Southern Fried Dufus on Facebook who insinuated he was a p###y. ie. he caved in to the negros and now this? My Dad had that cancer for 14 and then died at 63. I can not fathom running a major college football program with it. It almost always comes back. You do not cure it as far I know. You try to manage it.
