  1. of how it would feel...Cornhuskers up by 10 with the ball, grinding it out, killing the clock. You look around and soak up the moment as thousands of Trojan fans make their way to the exits. First down Big Red as the clock ticks down to 2:44. Flash bulbs go of and red flags fly as "GO BIG RED...GO BIG RED" echoes though a half empty Coliseum...NU 31 - USC 21 It's been a reoccurring dream the last month or so...we'll see
  2. HEY FOOTE 21.......I'LL BE RIGHT THERE WITH YA!!!!!!!!!!! If we don't win I will probably hit a couple of clubs and soak up some LA night life...but when we do win...OH BOY I will be in the streets with 30K Huskers fans and at Gameday telling Corso to eat crow!!! It's gonna be awsome! I've got goosebumps right now just thinking about it! GO BIG RED
  3. How about- HEY CORSO PLEASE PICK USC (and give us a chance) GO BIG RED!!! or SOMEONE IN NEBRASKA... SEND SOME RUNZA ASAP
  4. You guy are exactly right...I just don't see how with that many people and how many bandwagon fans they have accumulated in recent years they can't sell out the stadium!!! I hope the fact that they don't seem to care means they are selling their tickets to Husker fans!!! I think we are going to have at least 20K Husker fans in the seats. I personally know about 20 people that have tickets! Not to mention all of the Husker fans that live in Cali or AZ.
  5. I am frickin' JACKED for this game!!! I fly out of Denver of Thur. and it can't get here soon enough. I have been moving into a new Apt. this week so that has kept me busy and my mind off of it as much as possible. I live up Vail CO so I don't get any Husker info except for the internet...I don't know how you guys listen to Sports Nightly, watch the news and read the paper everyday...I would be pulling my hair out!!! I've also thought of getting a husker tattoo. I was thinking of getting - "Dear Lord, The Battles We Go Though Life..." across my shoulders maybe with a red N above it. GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!
  6. I have to agree with TrueHuskerFan on this one. The 02' Texas game is the loudest I remember…during the Texas 3-and-out late in the forth quarter especially. I was sitting in the third or forth row on the 40 yard line compared to my usual south endzone hangout so maybe that made a difference, but that game was LOUD.
  7. From the USC Sports Information Office- "The 92,000 seat stadium is sold out for an unprecedented fifth consecutive contest" Let’s do some simple math shall we... Population of the entire state of Nebraska - 1,700,000 Seating capacity of Memorial Stadium - 84,000 Percentage of states population to fill stadium - 5% Population of LA metro - 16,000,000 Seating capacity of the Coliseum - 92,000 Percentage of LA metro population to fill stadium - 0.6% I think thats kind of well...
  8. I know we did role call bove but...If you're going, where is everyone tailgating and hanging out? I've got everything planned (tickets, hotels, tee times...)except I have know idea what we're doing Sat. before the game! I'm sure it won't be hard to just find a tailgate party, and I was just planning on going where the day takes me. Did'nt know if there were any "Husker" bars or hangouts that anyone knew of. GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Leave DEN thur. at 5:45pm arrive OAK 6:45. Drive to LA on Fri....back to Oakland on Sun. Play golf at Poppy Hills Mon. Fly back to DEN on Tues. at 5:00. I CAN"T WAIT!!! After 50+ home games I finally get a road game in!!! See Ya'll there SEC. 10 ROW 5. GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. A very good point VY's mobility definitly changes the game. But Texas needs to play the game they have all year!!! If VY comes out and tries to take over the game like he has something to prove, Texas is doomed. Just a thought...is the way the media covering USC-UT familiar, all USC and no Texas. Reminds me of all fun-and-gun and no Nebraska.
  11. Is anyone else tierd of ESPN and their "History in the making", putting 05 USC up against the best teams of all time? I mean they have put up some great numbers this year but lets hold off a little. They haven't beat Texas yet. If they do win, then we can start all the "are they better thans". What happens when Texas wins...and I think they will, then we can all laugh as Mark May tries to backpedal and say he really thought Texas was the better team all along. Never thought I'd say this but...hook'em horns!!!
  12. I'll be watching the game up here in CO at the bar. I know the bartender really well so it will be great to see the faces of all the sCUm fans when he plays my Husker Game Day CD really loud!!!! Go Big Red!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NU-27 UM-21
