No if Lee did the same thing the game woulda been over. The BCS people did NOT want to deal with Texas losing and have to dealing with UC and TCU both screaming for a shot at the title. Nobody can ever convince me otherwise. The BCS is rigged and has no legitimacy anymore. Don't believe me? Look at the Fiesta bowl game. TCU vs Boise State????? Really?!?!?! Can't let the little guy face a bigger program like Florida or even a Cincinnati cause they are worried that a win vs. maybe those two teams would show that maybe they shoulda got a shot at the national title instead of a Texas that eeked out a BS win. I want a playoff so bad, but lets be realistic. It is never going to happen. $$$$$ talks

I have a feeling the football Gods will smile on us this one time and award Suh the Heisman. They gotta, they screwed us Saturday night and they still owe us for screwing Tommie out of the trophy in 1995 and instead awarded it to that jagoff Eddie George. Yeah yeah I know Crouch won the Heisman since then, but I want sweet upset redemption for 1995 when Touchdown Tommie rightfully earned that trophy.

Ok just go along with me for a minute here....... At the end of the season I think we will all sit back and say that even though we got our a$$es handed to us by mizzou it may have been one of the best things that happened to the program under pelini so far. I think that the whooping we received was the best teaching tool the coaching staff has now. It makes me feel after watching the TTech game that the coaching staff has the ability to say "look you can do it the old way, your way, and get killed 52-17, or you guys can do it the new way, our way and go down to the wire with the best teams in the nation". I just think that there is nothing better to learn from than a good ole ass kickin. Obviously I woulda loved to win the mizzou game but, just think about it. The coaches have something to reference now and maybe the team really woke up.

Oh I believe. I believed after the Va tech game. Ya know I remember last season how everyone was just so made at this team for not caring and quitting on games and showing no emotion, well this year this team has a lot of fire. Yeah we've lost the past 3 games but other than the mizzou game, which i thought was a huge lesson for the team, the guys have shown heart and fire. I am very proud of the huskers this season and it will only get better and better from here.

I am absolutely heartbroken right now. I really thought we were gonna win the game when Swift returned that punt but I will tell you what. Say what you want about X's and O's but there is one big difference between this years team and last years team. WE DID NOT QUIT!!! All I can ask of our Huskers is to fight till the end, you win some and you lose some but they DID NOT QUIT!!!! I am proud of the guys and very happy with the coaching staff. Yes Offense needs work but it is fixable and the coaches and everyone knows it. But the guys DID NOT QUIT!!! Good job guys, I hurt ridiculously right now over the loss but this was one of the most exciting and entertaining games I've seen in awhile from the Big Red!!!! Lets learn from tonight and move on to next week!!! Go Big Red!! Beat the Tigerrs!!!!

So Final Thoughts?? I am happy we got the W but listening to the game really made me nervous because it still sounded like Callahan was coaching this team. Defense can't get stops and still getting the ball thrown all over them. Us passing the ball all the time instead of trying to establish the run. I still have faith that we are gonna come around soon but tonight resembled too much of last season for me to be comfortable with.

I am truly bamboozled why we are still throwing the ball.

Anybody disagree with the assumption that Cody Glenn although new to the defense is more than likely the leader??

Gotta solidify the secondary, Haven't really heard much from Asante tonight which scares me. I have faith that they'll come around.
