With all due respect to the alleged victims and the seriousness of this tragedy, it could be the start of a nasty rivalry. If the Huskers go in and completely dominate them and even run up the score a little bit, that would really start the fire between the two schools. I`m not saying I want it to happen that way, but if Penn State is flat and we can stay focused it`s possible. However it turns out, it will be an emotional stadium and an electric atmosphere. Go Big Red!

Sports betting might not be a good idea for you then................ Actually, sports betting may be perfect for them. If a person really thinks NU should be 4-5 point dogs then this would be the ideal game to bet on MSU. You would be getting an extra 8+/- pt cushion. I haven't bet all year but MSU +4.5 sounds too good to be true. Based on having watched both teams I see nothing that leads me to believe the Huskers will play a complete 4 quarter game or that our D will miraculously "come around" this week. Hey if a guy has to be disappointed in how the game goes, making a little extra cash in the process can't hurt. And if you lose the bet, so what, your Huskers just won a big game. The key phrase here is "too good to be true"....Vegas knows it will be extremely difficult for MSU to get up for a game with the Huskers and they set the line accordingly...I think they come into Lincoln flat after 2 huge weekends with Michigan and Wisconsin.

I think it`s kind of like a trap game for MSU...they have had 3 big games in the last 4 weeks.

NU is a 4.5 to 5.5 favorite....Thoughts? I thought it would be an even game...MSU has to be drained after the last 2 weeks

It has to be Oklahoma. There is no more of a fitting end to our association with the Big6/Big8/Big12 than to play the Sooners. One more time, for all the marbles.

After growing up in the 70`s, I still remember all the times Oklahoma pulled out a last second win over us. So if it was anybody...I would like see NU vs Okla for the Big 12 Championship with NU dominating the entire game. Our last game in the Big 12 it`s only right that we play OU and stomp them.

And then the Coup de grâce...The big 12 championship game....(Fingers crossed here) Nebraska vs Oklahoma Couldn`t be a more fitting ending could there?
