  1. Bunch of good facts in here, thanks for sharing all the history of Clemson. I agree it would be awsome to do a home to home matchup.
  2. I still have mine from HS kept it in preety good condition except for I have a bad habit of breaking the zippers. I havent seen them like the ones I had in HS. I have also found some of mine in thrift stores. Right now I have a reversible starter jacket, pull over starter jacket, and a soft leather jacket. I havnt really grown since HS just gained around 40 lbs but the one still fit because my parents bought the pull over jacket big.
  3. I dont know why were favored to win, IMO I think we can just dont see why the point spread is showing us favored. At the begging of the year I predicted us to finish 7-5, so far I have been right on losses my last loss was to KU. But it was one I was unsure about which had me a toss up of us finishing 8-4. But now that the season has unfolded I think we should win for 5 reasons (1) Last years score, were looking at getting our revenge (2) How close the teams are compared to each other (3)Were at Home (4) Last weekends embarassing loss to OU and (5)We want to keep the record going, we lost the MU gameat home this year so we need to atleast keep KU record of 40 years going.

  5. I was unsure if I would get this game, but I have decided what the heck I'm off work and the team so far has had a good week of practice so sounds like it will be a good game with NU comeing out with the win. Last week they didn't have a good week of practice, but the three weeks before they had good practice weeks and won 2 our of 3 and the only loss to TT so like I said should be a good game expecially comeing back home after a big loss.
  6. Well I'm very excited this is the game I have been looking forward to, for two-three years. I have been a Bucs fan eversince I was a little kid. Then I found out they were comeing to Arrowhead I was wondering how I was going to make it to the game, was going to buy tickets but with a new son, finances made it kind of hard. I am an Army Recruiter for the KC Battalion and a few months ago I got an email wanting volunteers to go to the game. Army Recruiters would get sideline passes. My only job I will have for the whole game is at half time, I will go out and help hold up the big US Flag. I wanted to go to this game but I was never expecting to be on the sidelines. So now my next step is to beable to get tickets to Memorial Stadium.
  7. I felt comeing into the year we didn't stand a chance agaist OU, but if we keep performing better like we have the last few weeks we might beable to pull the upset. My concern is our secondary at times we are good and others we get burned. But hopefully we can get some turnovers this game we havn't had an interception for awhile now, maybe this will be our game.
  8. Besides the penalties he looks like he is a great player. But I just look at it that he has never played defense untill this year so he dosnt know all the rules but he is learning and hopefully we wont see any more. He is a great LB and glad they made the swich, we defintley need the speed. Its hard to believe I was reading threw his quotes and besides never playing defense untill this year he has never tackled anyone which was a concern of his but as you can tell he has no problem getting someone down.
  9. I think without a doubt we will atleast make it to a bowl game. Next week is one of the losses i predicted for the year. My prediction at the begging of the year was as so, Wins(W. Mich, San Jose, NM ST, ISU, Baylor, Possibly KU, KSU, & CU) Losses(VT, MU, TT, OU, and possibly KU). KU I was unsure about but the more I look at them play I feel it is a win for us. We have been getting better and better and if our D plays as good as they did the 2nd half agaist Baylor then I see possibly even an upset agaist OU. And if we keep pit close and loose I wont be to upset either. I feel the program is heading in the right direction but we have a new coach going agaist a really good vetern coach that has had a great team over the last few years. Maybe next year we can pull off the upset agaist OU but I don't know about this year, but I guess I we will just have to see come Sat. GO HUSKERS BEAT THE SOONERS!!
  10. Im reading this, I'm just lucky my wife wasnt into college ball till she got with me. Now she is a die hard Husker fans, and her family isn't into college ball either. She use to like KU but only in basketball, but I have since converted her to my college basketball team the Tarheels. My dad raised me to be a Husker football fan so I will always be a Husker fan, but I was born in North Carolina so I rout for them as well. The only thing me and my wife have diffrences in are NFL teams she is a die hard Rams and Cowboys fan and I am a die hard Bucs and Panthers fan.
  11. No way does A&M makes a bowl, 2-5 with OU and UT left? They'll be lucky to get past Iowa St on Saturday....... I think he was saying maybe Baylor will beat A&M, but not Nebraska. Yeah, Exactly what I meant. Baylor might beat A&M but Not NU.. First, you're from Leander? That's epic. I lived in Cedar Park up until the summer after of my sophomore year when I moved to DFW. Secondly, my whole family has attended Baylor and we've had season tickets since I was a kid. I, of course, am an NU fan and future student. I've seen both sides of this with special insight to the NU football program and the improvements made and getting to see Baylor football up close almost every Saturday. This ain't yesteryear's Baylor team. I'm not saying they're the best in the Big 12, but if you put them in any other conference in the country excluding the SEC, Baylor would be a bowl team and would probably be competing for a championship in some. Robert Griffin will be one of the greatest QBs in Big 12 history by the time he's done. He's in the same mold as Vince Young with a few minor differences...Griff is about 2 inches shorter (VY is 6'5"), a little thinner, has a better arm than VY did, and might be faster (that's debatable). He needs weapons though. Kendall Wright is a phenomenal true freshman WR who at this point in his career, I'd say compares to a poor man's Jeremy Maclin. He doesn't return punts or kicks because the staff can't afford to get him injured. He's too important to the offense. Defense needs definite work, but this team is a lot better than it has been. This year isn't the year to go bowling for Baylor, but next year probably is in my opinion. So now Griffin is going to be as good or better than Vince Young...there was a Baylor fan on here earlier saying he is better than White from WVU. And saying that he is going to be one of the greatest in Big XII history is a pretty bold statement. I have seen a couple of games and I was not overly impressed. He cannot throw the ball very well and had made some mistakes....not that NU or a freshman has not made any. You realize Griffin is the only D1 FBS QB who's thrown over 100 passes who has still yet to throw a pick? YES, AND I ALSO REALIZE THAT THEY THROW ALMOST ENTIRELY SCREENS, SWINGS, AND JAILBREAKS. NANCY KERRIGAN COULD COMPLETE A LOT OF THOSE PASSES, WITH THE BAD LEG. You also realize that Baylor has only had 1 turnover in the past 5 weeks and that includes performances in against 3 of the nation's top defenses in UConn, OU, and OSU? DID YOU SERIOUSLY JUST INCLUDE UCONN IN THAT LIST? I said he was better than Pat White and he absolutely is. OPINIONS DON'T COUNT IN THIS TYPE OF ARGUMENT, IF YOU TRULY BELIEVE THIS THEN DEFEND IT. BY WHAT CRITERIA? Again, most people will continue to talk him down because he chose to go to Baylor over bigger schools. I've seen him in every game he's played other than OSU because I couldn't make it to Stillwater and there was no TV. He will be one of the greatest QBs in Big 12 history and if he continues at this rate, probably a first round draft pick. ASININE AND RIDICULOUS. Holy sh!t.... What exactly have you seen that screams NFL caliber QB? Chase f'ing Daniel won't be a first round draft pick, you're trying to tell me he is going to be? He has talent, but he isn't Vince Young. Right now he is what Jammal Lord would be in that offense, except Jammal would have more rushing yards. What you need to look at is the fact that he hasnt throw any picks, he is mobile and can throw the ball. And he is only a freshmen. Baylor maybe able to get beaten now, but if they get him some better talent to throw to and he gets some more experience. He will be a stud or maybe not. I guess will just have to watch him grow and mature with the team over the next few years.

If we play like we have the last couple games this will not be a problem.
