We haven't faced anyone near USC's level. They have. Our players will seem smaller and slower, and be less intimidating. We however haven't faced a defense as mighty as the Black Shirts.

The thing is that Fran respects every single team we play. He's very Dick Vermeil (sp?) in that regard, but he doesn't show a lot of emotion lick Coach Vermeil did. That being said... 34-21 Nebraska wins!

Since we are 8-2 and you guys are 7-3, the logical thing would be for us to lose to you so that mediocrity can be obtained by A&M once again. However, since you guys will clinch the North with just one more victory and we'll need two, plus two losses to t.u., then I have to ask for the Husker Nation to accept this loss as a goodwill gesture to our program.
