The stories coming from practice all point to a sense of teamwork, player leadership, & levels of confidence unseen since the '94 & '95 years. When the books are closed on 2007, some of us are going to be saying, "I told you so" while the slower ones will be proclaiming how BC finally "gets" the "Nebraska Way" (whatever the hell that is).

I loved watching Schlesinger up the middle in the OB. I also enjoyed watching Purify break into the stratosphere to get the win against aTm. As long as the 'N' is on the helmet, I'm pulling for them. Some people just can't figure out that Frankie wasn't getting it done on that end of things & we needed a change. No matter how successful we will be, they will generate excuses & bitch & moan about it. It won't be "The Nebraska Way" whatever the f*ck that is.....

Being an ass & getting in the faces of the opponents & asking for a donkey punch like the punk in Columbia in '03 is disrespecting your opponent. Going absolutely crazy (THAT'S NON-DESTRUCTIVE CRAZY, mind you) in an ecstatic display of pure joy is being happy for your team. "Act like you've been there before?" F-that. As it's painfully obvious to anyone outside Wildcat nation , this guy is in waaaaay over his head. In the spirit of fairness, he should be given at least six years to move around well, um errrrr ....to get it done... on that end of things.

My wife is from the western part of the state. She had some fondness for the Buffaloes & told me that I was just exaggerating how bad their fans are. thats good to here, the Defense is the biggest question mark of the team. Cozgrove ,in my eyes, is on the hot seat. Defense Points Allowed Per Game 2004 - 27.1 2005 - 20.4 2006 - 18.4 Clearly, Cosgrove doesn't know what he's doing.
