  1. You are absolutely right about the respect others have for the Husker Nation because of how we, as a whole, respect others. My wife married into the Nation when she married me and she is dumbfounded everytime we go out somewhere and I see another Husker fan. I make a point of stopping and saying hello or something to them. She is amazed how two perfect strangers can immediately start talking like they have known one another for years. I tell her that is the special part of being a part of the Husker Nation. We truely are one big family. GO BIG RED!!!!!
  2. Husker Jim from Wylie, Texas (A true red Husker fan deep in the Heart of Texas). 1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? I guess I officially became a member of the Nation when I listened to my first Nebraska football game on the radio in Omaha in 1976. I was hooked from that moment on. 2) What/who led you to The Nation? My dad was transferred to Offutt AFB. The rest is history. 3) Where are you from originally? Military Brat. Born in California 4) Where do you live now? Wylie, Texas (Freshman QB Patrick Witt came from our high school) 5) Favorite Husker memory? My first Tunnel Walk inside Memorial Stadium Missouri game 2006. 6) Worst Husker memory? Any lost to any Texas team. 7) Number of home games attended? 1. Already bought my tickets for this year's Iowa State game. 8) Number of away games attended? (3) Alamo Bowl Games (1) Independence Bowl Game (1) Game at Baylor 9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? Anything Red/White/Black/Khaki as long as it represents the Big Red I am also pretty partial to my Husker tattoo on my upper left arm. 10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) Anywhere I am with my two younger brothers/best friends 11) Favorite all time player? Tommie Frazier 12) WCO or Option? Undecided on the WCO. When we ran the ball like we did in the early 90's it was a thing of beauty. 13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne? No Comment 14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? I like Herbie 15) Favorite Husker play? Tommie Frazier's run in the Fiesta Bowl, Eric Crouch's touchdown catch against OU, The "Fumbleruski", Johnnie Roger's run against OU, etc. 16) Favorite game-day beverage? Got to try a "Red Beer" last year. Not too bad at all! 17) How did you find HuskerBoard? (referral source) Internet surfing
