I have still worn my husker gear with pride and flown my Husker flag every day. My friends don't understand it but then again very few of them are anything less than bandwaggon jumpers. Being proud goes way beyond what the team is doing "now".

These kids now have no idea of the honor and pride that comes with being a blackshirt. My uncle has told me on many occasions that his biggest accomplishment and proudest moment while playing at Nebraska was putting on that black jersey for the first time. he said he would trade his 2 all-big 8 awards for earning that black jersey.

I can't help but think that there will be changes before the end of the season. If not, why fire SP and bring in Oz when they did. They really could have waited until the end of the season to fire both. They knew the SP firing would be a distraction to the team. I say go ahead and pull the trigger and get rid of the cancer.

If I knew I was about to get fired in my job I should like to beat them to the punch and resign. I sure BC would do this (like tomorrow).

I think Matt has been great and rather refreshing. I like his honesty. His voice dosn't bother me that much.

I for one hope we see a heavy dose of Castille today, hopefully starting. Lucky has been great for us this year but I think Castille brings a style of running that we really need right now. He's going to be a great one.

A good friend of mine was married this year the day of the USC game, same time even. I told him that I wish you the best and don't take this personnaly but I won't be able to make it. getting married during football season on Saturdays makes no sense to me.

I think keeping BC on through the rest of the season is a mistake. He knows he is gone and I think that will be seen in his prep & attitude. This all reflects directly on the players. Just think, if you knew in your own jobs, if you were going to be fired would you give evrything you have and believe in the organization? I can imagine the amount of stress in BC's life right now is overwhelming and it will trickle down to the players. Give the seniors a fresh break, at least for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately, I think the coaches have lost the players completely and are beyond turning things around.
