I was reading a few articles around and the Lincoln paper has spotted Trev coming out of the complex ... could he be the possible AD in training?? don't think he is coaching material since he doesn't have any experience that I know of.... Any thoughts???

I heard the interview last night on ESPNU... the way it sounded to me that they had talked to Lane but it was his Dad that was very interested in the job.... NOT Lane

Thanks for comments I guess we can put this in the rumor heap.... I think the "knock it off" comment was to pull in the dogs... let the lower strings play and to STOP passing.. it was also given for a reason as to why Callahan bolted so quickly and appeared so sullen at the press conference...

Greetings.. I haven't posted many things but this came to my attention... I have a friend who has a son going to UNL... the report they gave him was that while on the sidelines last week several coaches came to Callahan and said aren't we up by enough?? Basically they were blown off and told to get out of the way... late in the 4th quarter Dr. Tom sent the team Chaplain to Callahan with the message "knock it off" Moderators may move this to rumor but I was interested to see if anyone else had heard or witnessed this??

He did get is break in college coaching at Hastings College DC for maybe one season I believe

I had heard that the smartest best HEAD coach material on the Solich staff was Marvin Sanders.. and I haven't heard this from very many people but I like the way Cottons offense worked... not has drastic a change as we ended up with but it appeared after he got the head set for the colorado and bowl game we moved the ball and had some new wrinkles for the offense.... it wouldn't have hurt my feelings to have kept him as OC just to see what he could do... I really don't think he got much of a chance to show us what he would do with Solich calling the plays... just about a half cents worth

[He has never been even close to average and wisconsin was happy to see him go.... the question of players I think we have plenty... if they ever see the field... I do give you that the line has to be better but we have athletes... let them go... let them fly.... let em make mistakes .... my 2 cents
