  1. The ref screw jobs that cost NC's @ Penn State in about 82 and Orange Bowl vs Free Shoes U in 93 with all the love fest for Bobby B and Charlie Hoops Ward, flag on the punt return cost a NC forget the make up at the end, FSU wasn't within 8 of Nebraska at the end if that return is called properly at TD and NU was a 17 point underdog......NC's build the brand and are forever, players and administrators come and go - of course Steve P as AD was a train wreck we could have done without, just like Big 8 taking in the 4 from the Southwest Conference, we needed Arkansas not Texas if you make that deal stick for more than 12 years or so. Oh and speaking of Arkansas, Bootleggers boy and Sooner Magic......whatever, did you say one thing? Sorry the nightmares just come rolling in so fast, perhaps we take away the pads and the forward pass and just get back to rugby please!
  2. Sounds great, hope his Jr Day was more than he expected and maybe knowing the others who have pulled the trigger will make it that much more comfortable for him to get N early and help the staff pull more talent!
  3. Sweet, welcome aboard Avery! Best of luck this fall, any chance you come early too???
  4. report on Scout just a bit ago says he was on the way to the airport.......nice weekend! GBR! - welcome aboard DeAndre
  5. My first year 7 home games one student punch card ticket for the season was $49.00 and the first game Florida State came into the hottest stadium on the planet and won 17-13, we haven't lost a home opener since........
  6. Just a shuffle, ELS coached DBs at UN Omaha........so maybe he moves back, if they are keeping him.
  7. I have a co worker who claims to be connected to Texas and he says they don't want Watson at Shorthorn High - I was actually giving him the business about it thinking Watson would go with Strong and that is what he was telling me.
  8. Gator Bowl don't care who fills the seats they know it's close enough to be a GA home game so they don't care if we show up or not....bottom line is our current administration and/ or brand status are not a factor to the decision makers this time of year. After giving away the game vs Michigan State and getting housed by Iowa at home, guess what? You end up as left overs in the pecking order, and that is where the results of the process put the huskers this bowl season. So don't think Bo said lets go to Florida, he ended up there because he got passed over by the bowl in an area full of our fan base. FACT Lucky that B1G got 2 in the BCS to give us all a nicer split of a larger pie, otherwise this trip would most likely be on the negative side of the balance sheet too........so give them a nice (non contact) vacation in Florida and hope they can survive, because Bo is not going to change his process........more of the same to come.
  9. Just call it a Georgia home game, expect very few to drive and fewer to fly with the current cost of airline tickets for that region for this one.......too bad because I thought we would have a nice fan showing in Tempe based on travel agency requests last week.
  10. You mean we should have gotten the coach from Arkansas State before Auburn did? I knew about him because he went from HS championship with Springdale ARK to Arkansas as OC, then Tulsa but really did well at Arkansas State which is also a college rugby powerhouse.....see your problem isn't the players or the system per say, its the OC having no clue in the heat of battle....that is the biggest problem.
