  1. the two are very similar but braylon seems slighty better suited for between the tackle running.aaron looks to have better hands
  2. i'll be there with my father in law,my son, and a couple friends
  3. he is waiting on his sat scores to tell if he has to go to summer school or not he said he should know by the middle of the week
  4. I would say were like 28th at the end of the season cause the line is there. the line backer will be better than last year cause they will have a better understanding (being two years in instead of just the spring the last group had.) and also better prepared to cover (whaley's a athlete and fisher is a converted saftey) so that helps out the secondary and allows guy like asante and thenarse to be who they are (safties not 4th and 5th cb) also adding to that is the cb west will be just as good as murillo(and if he's not blue or dennard will) and prince will be better. mix in good defensive coaching and were at least 28th.
  5. kacy rodgers from southlake carroll
  6. Eric Crouch - 51.5% Tommie Frazier - 49.5% Scott Frost - 54.5% Turner Gill - 54% Zac Taylor - 57.2% Vince Ferragamo - 57.5% well crouch ,frazier, frost, taylor didn't play qb after they left nu (and holding a clipboard doesn't count) can't remember for sure but i don't think gill did either. ferragamo was before my time. so 5 out of 6 bad take that as you will.
  7. not saying were going to blow them out or anything like that but ganz threw a pick 6 right to harris so that in itself makes it a different out come. and all acc games are competitive but that's cause their all as good as each other at the top that's why no teams finished with less then 3 losses. 10-4 get middle of the pack in the big 12 and the sec,but in the acc it equals conference champs. so tell me what that says.
  8. Yeah, I can't imagine why anyone would think VT could beat us. I mean, a team with a returning starter at QB (who is 13-2 in his career) coming off a season where they won the ACC championship game and a BCS bowl game by a combined 31 points. Not to mention the fact that they're 30-4 at Lane in the past five years and we're bringing in a first-year starter at QB with almost no game experience. Oh, and they beat us last year in Lincoln. Let's be honest, FAU has a better shot at beating us. well let's really look at it that returning qb you speak of isn't that great he only completes 57 percent which is average at best and alot of his balls can be picked. and as far as being the acc champs well they won it because they are the best(maybe) and that says nothing.(it's like being miss trailer trash) and they beat UC so lets not pretend that's like beating usc or florida. "it's like being miss trailer trash"... Winning the ACC still makes the Hokie nation proud. Not only do you insult me as a football fan and a Hokie, but also fine programs like Miami, Clemson, and FSU - programs that have a long tradition of dominating college football. As with any conference, the ACC has probably not been where it could be for the last few years, but we still take pride in our teams and the sport we love! I am also certain that most Huskers would congratulate Cincy on their fine season last year. Having been to Lincoln last year (I go to every away game no matter where) I never met a single Husker fan that insulted us, before or after the game. Even after we "stole" a win we had people come up to us to thank us for coming to Memorial Stadium. As for our QB - he has developed quickly and don't forget that he was a true soph when he was in Lincoln last year. He has only started 15 games and has had to carry an extremely young offense. Although I would not compare our team to USC or Florida, we have put together 5 consecutive seasons with at least 10 wins. Not too bad for someone from the trailer-park! I look forward to seeing the Huskers again this fall - in fact, it is probably the game I look the most forward to because our trip to Lincoln made me a "closet" Husker fan, and I will dismiss your comments as a little too much excitement during the off-season. Hokieluv, most Husker fans don't act like this guy. The ACC was extremely competitive last year. Tyrod has been a great qb. I'd take a qb with a great winning percentage over a qb with a great completion percentage any day. He gets it done! I know you were joking but most of us know you didn't "steal" a win in Lincoln. You came in and won. You did it the VaTech way . . . with solid, smash mouth football. As much as it hurts us to say it, VaTech has been a better program of late than Nebraska. Thanks for your classy posts. well i do speak for myself and let face it the acc does sucks which makes ten win possible. and tyrod is no great qb far from it. oh and when one team repeats costly mistake after costly mistake then it's safe to say they lost it not the other team won it. so we will see what tyrod gots.

  10. I don't understand why people think we are going to lose to VT. yes they are well coached but had it not been for us they wouldn't have won NU lost that game and with a overall better team we won't lose again. i'll say 11-1 then losing the big 12 (not if we play ou they won't beat us twice in the same season) and depending on the bowl match-up we will see.
  11. my observation of the defense Dl allen and suh are even better than last year crick is starting to impress meredith is really coming along josh williams is bigger but just as fast that definatley should make the front four one of the best in the nation ( yes i said nation cause i didn't even mention T. Moore and steinkuhler) LB i have been a fan of whaley since i first saw his highlight tape and he didn't let me down. good on the outside and inside (he stuff cotton i think on the edge right after the catch) fisher looked good and may is fast and aggressive. compton made a couple tackles even dillard was good (don't quite understand why he so low situation or not) the lb are young but very talented i expect them to hit their stride about game 5 ( whoever that is ) DB amukamara is going to be really good as long as he trust hisself (second guess hisself a couple time and it cost him) west to me just doesn't get his head around as fast enough but is very capable. thenarse is the same ol thenarse and same with asante (wether thats good or bad you decide) but smith is going to be a star (and soon if RT and LA don't kick it up a notch) o'hanlon is always going to be smart which keeps him in play. and hagg is just fine at s (starting to warm up to the idea of hagg and smith as starters) blue once he trust hisself to let go and play will be a starter cause he was right there on the majority of his assignments. dennard is going to play a whole lot and so will gomes. i like the defense alot espically being in the big 12 where it can shine and any bumps we would have are smoothed out by the schedule ( three cupcakes to gain confidence and vt which never has been an offensive juggernaut) then going in to conference we will play three new starting qb(ksu=win ttech=win misery=win) a rb in wr body playing qb(bu=win the only reason griffen passed so well was cause his coach only let him throw 5 yards or when a wr was wide open) then ou which i'll say is a loss and isu and cu which aren't good at all (don't believe the cu hype) so i look at our defense and see about (i mean about ) 18ppg 335ypg(110rpg225ppg) so when i look at the team i see a one loss team. man i can wait till fall
  12. i'm new here and by no means an expert but i wnet to the game. this is what i saw. the qb are good real good. the rb were average with helu out (yes castille was faster but didn't dominate) the wr are real good i really like bell (wish people would stop comparing him to hardy his one catch on that post was a better catch then hardy ever had) and mendoza can be our harvin-type (not comparing talent just the all-purpose type) the te make up for that lack of super star wr (i'm hoping on kinnie his frame is insane just hope his 40 is close to being right) cause mcneil and reed are stars and cotton and young could start on half of the college teams in america. the ol needs a little work still but we have everything we need there to do it. all and all work is still needed but i see an offense that should average (around) 33ppg 485ypg imho

i think we should go with the dual-threat but one's that actually pass like cody green. my top two are dallas lloyd from utah and jesse scroggins from cal(even though he listed as a prostyle looks like a dual threat to me) that way you get the best of both worlds and makes our team better. give to much for the opposing defense to think about.
