  1. I'd feel a lot better about this post if our OL was at full strength. That's what is really worrying me about this game.
  2. The technical fouls happened with 9:14 left in the second half. The score after the foul shots was NU: 45 CU: 51 Nebraska had 9 minutes to come back from a 6 point deficit and couldn't do it. That's on the coaches and the players, not the refs.
  3. SJB tweaked his knee this week? Have I been living under a rock or is this the first time I've heard this?
  4. Except for the fact that the color black actually has significance within the football program, whereas green, pink, purple, and yellow do not.
  5. Obviously if we wore black uniforms for one game a year it would form a wormhole that would erase all of our past achievements, history and tradition.
  6. We all know these uniforms are fake, but they would still be pretty awesome for an alternative.
  7. This probably has nothing to do with anything, but I wanted to throw it out there. I remember hearing about our team watching tape and preparing for the B1G teams very early, way before fall practices. Is it possible they have spent much more time preparing for these teams than our OOC schedule? I know they still prepare for them, but maybe the defensive plan is different for our OOC schedule than in conference schedule. Yeah, probably not. Just grasping for straws.
  8. I went to a game last year where a man in his 30s got into a pissing match with an older gentleman because the older man told him to sit down. I'm sure some parts of the stadium are better than others, but this is something I've witnesses a lot.

I'm not trying to pick on you here, but I get kind of tired of this attitude. If we wore black uniforms for ONE game, would it really be such a big deal? I don't think anyone wants to change tradition, but it's fun to switch things up now and then for a brief moment. The whole, "This is how we have always done things, this is how we will always do things, and that's that" attitude wears me down. But then again, maybe I'm not a real fan.
  10. Has the stadium ever had a reputation for a hostile environment, every game? It seems like the trend has always been loud for big games, dull/quiet for not big games. I don't think Memorial Stadium is nationally recognized for loudness. Overall atmosphere, yes.
