      Void trouble when you can.

  4. I know that I probably don't match the demographic of the majority of this forum, but I don't understand where everyone gets their taste from. Every time someone suggests a rap or hip-hop song for anything ranging from a tunnel walk to your own pre game grill out, music snobs come out of everywhere stating how awful the genre(s) is/are as if it's an innate fact. Then, I come on here, watch 1/3 of a video before turning it off for fear of my spine actually snapping because it was cringing that much, and everyone is giving this hunky-dory bull crap top marks.
  5. Yea, totally the staffs fault for giving him chances while he watches Gerry fly past him to make up for Banderas' lack of aggressiveness.

  7. That struck me as odd, too. You'd think he'd have a pretty full Rolodex by now. Yeah...I think he has been pretty isolated...but it still something that kind of bugs me a bit...1. Really well respected but might not know a lot of guys 2. Might be bringing most/all of his old staff 3. Offense is a hodgepodge/multiple Not the end of the world but just things that kind of made me go "hmmmm" He's been here a single day folks. Give him some time....he's got plenty of it. Thats just it...he doesn't have plenty of time. He is starting recruiting today, he said...time is up.Exactly. He doesn't have plenty of time, he needs to get to work yesterday.I,agree with you about all of your concerns. I was expecting him to win the press conference, but I wasn't impressed. I said last night that this hire seemed very callahanesque, after hearing this press conference and everything about this guy, he seems more Doc Sadler to me. Given the negativity you have had over this hire in general, your comments are not surprising. It's funny that our previous staff got killed for having a Hodge podge offense with no identity, yet this guy gets a pass. If he brings the majority of his staff from OSU, if his record is any indication of their ability, then we shouldn't expect much better than what we've had the past 15 years. I think that those are real concerns. I think what he was alluding to is changing the offense season to season to better fit the team; not necessarily having a ridiculous amount of formations and plays that they throw at defenses like a dart at a spinning board, aka, Beckfest.
  8. On the surface I want this, too; mainly because Riley is 61 and I want a coach in waiting. However, Frost and Riley run completely different offenses. What would change? Would they be able to gel? I like the flash of him and Orgeron, though. Great combination of coaches.
  9. Before anyone puts you down, I want you to know I agree with you. The Callahan years were bad because of the losing, but they were awful because of the carelessness he had for the program, players and history. Bo was his own man, but he cared about these kids. He did things his way, but they were understandable. What's Brolema's excuse? He's just an areshole for no reason.
  10. I'm not the person you were asking, but this guy gets under my skin. He whines about recruiting, especially when Meyer came to town; he runs up scores when able to, like throwing 80 yard touchdown passes when he's up 50 points; in a similar vein, going for 2 up 41-16; there was that time he said "I guess it's a good time to be a Badger fan" after the Penn State scandal broke; the time his wife tweeted "#karma" after Wisconsin got absolutely hosed by PAC refs; general douchey-ness.
  11. 1. I'm not doubting how good of a coach he is. I think he's very intelligent. 2. My concern is, would Abdullah have even played? Bo and co. didn't have great recruiting classes but turned out good seasons. They found the diamonds in the rough. Abdullah is fantastic, one of the best, but a lot of his success is owed to the coaches who saw his potential. 3. I don't like this superiority complex a lot of Nebraska fans have with Iowa and Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a great program now. Getting a better coach doesn't automatically put us in a tier above them. 4. This is actually worse in my opinion. I don't want to stare his jiggly self on the sidelines.
  12. I need to get off the Internet. This gif actually made me a little mad. Something I don't like about Eichorst.
