Ha! White skill players are taking over the NFL. Jokes aside, here is a truth with a twist: We are striking out on some high end guys. I will be honest and say that Nebraska right now doesn't need an Isaiah Mozee type of receiver. They need a Michael Terry or Emmanuel Choice. Corey Simms is good but I don't know if he's better than Smith or Hall. Why are we striking out? Nebraska's offense last year is a hard sell and a lot of the guys are in wait and see mode. If we ball out on offense, expect multiple flips. We are also full at the position and have high end guys in that room now. Lastly, Nebraska is a top portal destination for receivers and if Dylan has a great freshman season, Nebraska may want to hold out for those guys who are proven and will have multiple years to play. It is going to shake out just fine at this position and what's most important now is that we have what we need for 2024.

He's going to commit on his visit. Nebraska will have one more spot for WR after this.

If Nebraska were able to bring him in, so much changes for this year and to the positive. He's a star.

Within the next two-three weeks, expect some predictions and crystal balls for Neb.

I had this conversation with DB last night and it spearheaded much of the radio talk today. I don't think fans or local recruiting guys understand how good Jackson is. Jackson has elite level speed, acceleration, suddenness and an NBA level vertical to add while being 6ft 2in. If he were at North or Millard South, he would be a 4 star recruit and possibly the top in the state.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, but the "other two schools" are referring to us and A&M.

I am not privy to any info. I have to imagine this is a Nebraska vs A&M scenario here. It's really about staying home or playing for the staff he likes the best. Bama is the name brand but I don't know if it's the best situation considering the transition. The other two schools afford him insight and elite QB prospects to play with.

Colorado is selling him on playing as a true freshman. Nebraska cannot sell him that but neither can Texas. The spring OV should seal the deal here.

Miami is out and that offer wasn't committable. This will come down to Nebraska and Wisconsin.

Nebraska may have pulled away as the leader for now. Look for a June decision.

This isn't going to last much longer in my opinion. USC is a bad fit for him and there is too much unknown about their defense going into the BIG. Early to mid May he is going to be N.
