  1. SEC doesn't have rules... LOL. I was going to say something along those lines too.
  2. I guess I don't understand. Nussmeier left Bama yesterday and today they hire Lame. How is that 10 days? Not saying anyone is wrong, I'm just curious.
  3. Thanks for the input. They seem to have a great product and that is why we are confused. I have been told that since it is Alaska, the cruises tend to be a little more relaxing and less party, so maybe we will go with The best deal. Appreciate the feedback, thank you.
  4. I've been on Carnival and Royal Caribbean, never Princess though. My experience on Royal Caribbean was good, the ship was awesome and very clean and it was very classy in comparison to Carnival. Carnival is okay if you're into partying all night or if you have a family with kids. In those cases I wouldn't pick Royal Caribbean or Princess from what I've heard about Princess. Princess has some nice looking ships with cool features from what I've seen from those ships from being in port with them. The ship we took on Royal Caribbean was Jewel of the Seas and had just won their fleet award for best ship and crew so that may have been a factor into how great Royal Caribbean really was. I liked the food better on Carnival than Royal, but enjoyed the atmosphere of mature people more on Royal than Carnival. Several dickheads were encountered on Carnival during my trips with them, two total, but none were staff, just passengers. Thanks for the input. Yeah, we are planning on getting away for a week without the kids, so we are very much interested in the romantic/relaxing cruise. We aren't the big party crowd these days, that's why we are leaning towards Princess. It seems to be more of that crowd that they cater to. Great information, very much appreciated.
  5. I appologize in advance for this being a stupid topic/question, but it is one that I am looking for a little help with. My wife and I are looking at taking an Alaskan cruise next summer for our anniversary. Neither of us have been on a cruise before and we are getting all kinds of mixed results and reviews. I believe we have narrowed it down to Princess and Royal Carribbean, but cannot decide which one is the better choice. Does anyone have any experience, insight, thoughts, opinions that could help us decide? Doing Google searches for the last month has only confused us more. Thanks in advance. GBR!!!
  6. Wow. This could be a great recruiting day
  7. Welcome to the family Robert. Go Big Red!
  8. I agree. I would love to see Richt come here. I don't understand why everyone is against him because he has a few losses in the SEC every year and doesn't have a national title. With that said, who should NU seek that doesn't have losses every year and brings home titles? I guess Nick Saban is the only candidate then. Looks like NU will be going after him and only him. Maybe Les Miles too. Come on people... Richt brings more to the table right now than Bo does. One for one, I believe Richt is an upgrade. Would someone please let me know who is an "upgrade" over Richt then (and remember, the coach needs one or no losses and titles)?
  9. Same thing in Denver with the Broncos. They brought in Elway to run the team and an experinced coach in Fox.
  10. Love this. Again, I ask why? Richt, Petrino, Petersen, insert any other head coach with a ton of experience that can't get it done. Nebraska fans want championships. I don't think any of these guys can get them here either. And the coaches who are getting them aren't coming to Nebraska. I'm sorry, but I'd rather take a chance on a promising young coach in charge of one of the best offenses in college football over a coach with experience who I know can't get it done. Richt is a proven HC who has appeared in more conference championships and won more at an SEC school than Pelini and Frost combined. Ideally, we should go after a proven winning HC at a program who would view the job at NU as a promotion with the prestige and tradition we offer. I guess I see Richt as a winner. He is a great play caller, solid recruiter, and has shown he can hang with the rest of the best. Sure, he doesn't have a NC title, but none of the coaches mentioned here as well as Bo himself have that claim either. Why not go after a coach that has shown the ability to win games and recruit, year after year? We do need a HC who is passionate about recruiting instead of leaving it all up to his assistants and assuming the title of a "Closer." Exactly my point...
