  1. What a beautiful thing! Here's to more losses for aggy. My Baylor side takes over when it comes to those clowns. I think BU has a very legit shot to beat them this year.
  2. Which is why they went to New Mexico State? Seriously...Some guys just need to learn to shut up.
  3. It's missery. What did you expect? lol.
  4. Learn to expect great things from him. He was WAY underrated coming out of high school and has an opportunity to do great things here.

  6. I come from a Baylor family. My Granddad was Dean of Education at Baylor, my mother, aunt, 6 cousins, my grandmother, and my dad all attended Baylor and it is a family tradition. Got into Nebraska sports when football would come to Waco. Got even more intense in '06/'07 when my best friend got his football scholarship and chose to attend Nebraska. I just moved from Dallas to Waco to go to school at the community college down here and I'll transfer to UNL next semester. No dirty looks or anything. BU fans pretty much just enjoy the experience of being around NU fans because we're not jerks and we're traditionally cordial and football saavy. Plus people who are actually from Nebraska are usually strong Christians (if you're not, I don't mean to offend you). At Baylor that's pretty respected. I love Baylor University and have grown up with it and will ALWAYS cheer for Baylor, but I'm also very proud to be a Husker.
  7. Singletary will take the job for sure. He wants all 7 of his children to go to Baylor. His son is already on the football team and was a part of the '07 class as a DE/OLB. I can almost guarantee that Singletary will be in before Christmas.
  8. I've been a Baylor fan my whole life. Even before I was a Husker fan. IF you want Kevin Steele to even be considered, you're begging to get raped in the butthole every single game throughout his whole tenure. Easily one of the worst head coaches I've ever seen...and don't blame it on the players. Against UNLV, Coach Steele decided to call a run play instead of taking a knee to pad the score against the Rebels. The Baylor RB fumbled and UNLV took it all the way to the house and won. Coach Steele approved the call. He gave the knod. He is a HORRIBLE coach and whoever puts him in place as a head coach again, may God have mercy on their souls. As for Mike Singletary, go ahead and count him out. Morriss is out officially at Baylor and Singletary will be in before Christmas.
  9. Guy Morriss will not be retained as Baylor’s football coach after this season, two high-ranking university sources told The Dallas Morning News. Morriss brought the Bears back to respectability by leading them to competitive, albeit losing, seasons the past two years. His record at Baylor is 18-38. Morriss has only one year remaining on his contract. He could not be immediately reached for comment. Baylor spokesman Nick Joos said athletic director Ian McCaw would not make a decision on Morriss until after the season. The Bears have suffered through 12 straight losing seasons. This year’s team is 3-7. The school hasn’t been bowl eligible since 1995. As for Morriss’ replacement, sources said former Baylor legend Mike Singletary will be among the top candidates. Singletary told The News in late October that if the Baylor job came open, he would consider it. “If the Baylor deal comes open, I just feel like my wife and I have to take a step back and look at whatever the opportunities are,” Singletary said on Oct. 29. “That’s really what it comes down to. “If that’s where the Lord is taking us, I’ve got no problems being there. I’d be very excited to be there. But it all depends on where the Lord is leading us — whether that’s to colleges or here in the NFL.” Singletary could not be reached late Thursday. Some Baylor fans wanted Singletary to get the job when Morriss was hired in December 2002. He was a three-time All-American linebacker (1978-80) and went on to a Hall of Fame career with the Chicago Bears. However when Morriss was hired, Singletary had no coaching experience. That’s changed. Singletary was the linebackers coach for the Baltimore Ravens in 2003 and 2004. He became an assistant head coach with the 49ers in 2005. It’s unclear if Morriss’ status would change if Baylor could beat No. 4 Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in the final two games. The Bears (0-6 Big 12) are listed as 38-point underdogs this week against the Sooners. Source: dallasnews.com GREAT NEWS FOR THE BEARS! SIC' EM!
  10. Is your buddy Gilleylan or Mendoza? LOL! You asked that last time. I don't want it to be a distraction to the board and such. I'll just say that he is one of the guys from TX in the '07 class.
  11. Me and my buddy were talking and he was talking about how Sam usually gives this long, elaborate speech after practice about how to win. Joe seems to do things a little bit differently. His exact quote: "I ain't got no f****** speech. Just beat the s*** out of Kansas." The team erupted in cheers and he said that they "hadn't been so excited in practice all year". Hopefully this translates on the field.
  12. A player on the team sent me this? http://youtube.com/watch?v=goF33iHa8fA Maybe they sing that...
