Carnes to WR!

Said Carnes on move to WR: "All my life I played quarterback. But I feel I have good enough athleticism to help out the receiving corps." Yea thats right Brion Carnes. Maybe he is not going to transfer then like we thought!

Wow!

Well, that would appear to shut the door on Carnes at QB, or Carnes transferring.

I would be very surprised if he got much PT at WR. It's too bad it didn't work out for him at QB - he has tremendous talent and if it clicked or all came together at some point, it might've been really fun to watch. At one point he was highly promising.

The WR position is stacked, but I admire a kid that doesn't run from a program....Good luck Carnes....

I really think that we have some pretty good depth at WR so he most of just not been progressing at QB. Who knows, I wish him the best though in his transition!

Can he tackle? As was mentioned...

I will say it again.

Good luck to him

Says a lot for his character.Willing to do what he can for the team.I would take a few more like him, over the Tyler Moores and Aaron Greens.

One would think tackling would be a prerequisite for playing defense. Good luck to Carnes... I will be interested in how he plays at WR.

Not to hijack the thread, but Quincy Enunwa showed extremely poor sportsmanship in that hit in the Fresno State game shown above. Watch at the end:

It's one thing to hit a guy so hard that you sever his foot completely from his body, but Quincy then picks it up and keeps the guy's foot for a grisly souveneir, rather then letting the doctors reattach it.

I also think Quincy kept a pocketful of molars and fingernails from the guy he hit during the UCLA game, but I can't prove it...
