Zaire Anderson Out for season

So... now the D-Line is looking like a much stronger position group at least (comparatively speaking).

unless you are talking about zaire's acl, poor kid. he should get a medical redshirt. that is too bad, he gets a taste of the field after his fate was sealed. not to mention, he played well even with his ailment. we needed him.

 
I know it's a blow, but we're three games into the season guys. CHEER UP! You will be dying for football in February... ENJOY IT.

One guy doesn't make a team, although he did make it better with a torn ACL.........

Again, a guy with a torn ACL started over healthy LB's with more playing time. Wake up call to Bo for sure (I would hope) after realizing this.

i agree, but i wonder the specifics. that was my thought as well, but i just remembered about how sometimes if the acl is not completely torn, they may not do surgery at all. and it was even different and weirder for athletes. i do not completely remember the specifics. (my wife had acl surgery a couple years ago and the dr. discussed this with us). also, he may just be one tough sob.

 
really sucks as ZA seemed like such a good dude and his first game he played pretty well!! i hope all this pain and suffering so far (though it can all disappear quite quickly) will not be an issue for the much hyped for the last couple of years 2013 make or break season!!

 
In no way am I panicking at all, but this is the one position where we absolutely can't afford to lose depth, and then this happens....

Bad news for sure. Get well soon Zaire! Bad timing because with Wisconsin coming up, we'll probably play 3 linebackers because of their running game. Hope Whaley got some extra practice tackling cause we're gonna need him.
