Why does Pelini continue to allow Beck and his ridiculous calls? If a player makes a mistake, they lose their first born. Beck? Nada. Like groundhog day over and over and over again.

Beck didn't throw that sh**ty pass? Beck also didn't make that sh**ty decision. That's not on Beck.
You have to know your players' tendencies and call plays accordingly. We know Martinez makes poor decisions when he's asked to throw too many times. Beck should too.

It's on Beck AND Martinez.

I think the blame on that last drive goes on both Beck and Martinez. Martinez's last two decisions were questionable to say the least, but we were moving the ball on that drive ON THE GROUND. If you're going to throw from the 5 yard line, throw it into the endzone. That play, which was clearly designed for Cotton, didn't have a chance of scoring.

I'm sorry but Why is Beck calling that play?
Because he is an idiot ... but there is no way TM should have thrown that ball
Agree with both. But Beck knows his qb doesn't make the best decisions. 2nd and 5 let ameer have a shot...or fade it up to Q. Just can't agree with that call at ALL. They already had 2 picks on us. Beck has to stop putting so much on Taylor's arm. He's not a smart passing qb. The previous play he throws a wild shovel pass into a tight window when he had a chance at the pylon. So why would Beck ask Taylor to keep slinging it?
My only explanation is that he hates everyone on this board and he wants to get under our skin
