What happened to the new Herbie head logo? What was the story behind that anyway?

UPDATE:

I heard that the university is getting rid of Steve Pederson's version of herbie for a new one next year. Still will be herbie just a few changes to make it less "creepy".

I really do not like these, the whtie banner N reminds me of Miss. State.

For some reason I like Miss St.'s new look. I think the new N will be fine.

I personally never have liked the cursive Huskers. I thought it looked like the university was trying to hard to be modern (at the time it came out)... and is definitely dated. That said, I don't really like this new one either. I'm just a fan of the Iron N. Heck, I like just the skinny N more than these secondary logos.

Bring back the original with the blond hair! Thats the only Harry Husker i will ever recognize. I wont and havent bought anything with the stevie p harry pictured.
