He needs to be fired.

When one looks at our "10 win" season a little more closely, it does not pass muster as the mirage becomes apparent. Warning bells should be going off from Beatrice to Alliance and while I don't expect Eichorst to have the stones to jettison Pelini in year one, it is my sincere hope that we crash and burn in year 2 so that he has the political ammo he needs to pull the trigger.

Best case scenario...Pelini is hired away at the conclusion of this season...

In light of the current Big Ten title game, it got me pondering the worst husker game I can recall. This certainly has to rank towards the top. Some other games that come to mind -- not necessarily all blow outs:

2001 Colorado Game

2009 (?) Game against Oklahoma

2010 Big 12 Title Game

2012 Big 10 Title Game
I would say the Texas Tech game and the Colorado game were the worst before tonight. The Kansas game in 07 was bad. Ohio St this year. Thats my top 5. This game is the worst because of how much hope we had for the Rose Bowl. Bo should be on the hot seat because of this game

This is for the players and coaches.

Lo Country/Duke--I thought we already had a recruiting coordinator, and a service helping us to boot?

As for the staff, I can get behind what you said, with some minor exceptions (like our secondary coach and S&C coach).

Hey, look at the bright side, Husker wear is going to be extremely cheap for the next few years. The reason is obvious, supply vs demand. Who's going to demand NU stuff for a long while?

If you're Sean Eichorst what do you do with the current state of Nebraska football your first day on the job? I don't think he can fire Bo Pelini...you can't fire a coach who consistently wins 9 to 10 wins, you just can't, but you also can't have a head coach whose product on the field embarrasses the university on a routine basis. So what should he do? What should his expectations be going forward?
