Anyone going? I took a new job in North Augusta, SC and work about 10 min from the course.

Unfortunately, I didn't get tix this year.

I'm not going, not feasible. However, I am taking off work on Thursday afternoon and all-day Friday. Playing AM rounds on Friday and Saturday with a buddy and drinking Azaleas during the TV coverage.

You had me confused. I was actually in Augusta about, jeez, 9 years ago now I guess. Anyways, I drove in from Columbia. I never realized Augusta was on the border of the two states. I thought I remembered driving into Georgia further. When I saw North Augusta with SC, I had to map it. Think I would have noticed it when was driving to the city back those years ago, but apparently not.

Every year at one of the PAC auctions I have to go to for work, some guys from the South always puts up passes for the Masters every year.

Every year my bid of a few thousand bucks gets ran by like nothing.

Might be the best weekend of the year.

I don't complain about much ANGC does, but their online coverage is atrocious this morning.

A few years ago I ended up being home all alone all weekend and was laid up and couldn't do anything on Masters weekend. It was fantastic. I literally watched every minute of coverage from Friday afternoon on.

I REALLY need to get out and play.

Smart money would be on Tiger, since he's looking more and more like early 2000's Tiger. But, I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Dustin Johnson or Graeme McDowell win a jacket.

While I think Tiger is going to win, he is tough to bet on at 3/1. Does that make any sense?

I like putting money on longer shots. I hit Bubba at 33/1 last year. I have Adam Scott at 28/1 and Justin Rose at 20/1.

(I also put equal money on Tiger to break even)

Rickie Fowler cards two double-bogeys but still shoots four under to finish day one tied for fourth.
