Am I the only one that had no clue this ever happened? What a joke!

66-year-old Beverley Morgan sued the Bo Pelini Foundation and volunteer coach Tim Beck on Wednesday, claiming that she suffered a traumatic brain injury and a right rotator cuff injury in June 2010 during the Foundation’s “Football 101” camp.Morgan says she sustained the injuries during a gauntlet drill when she ran through two columns of women with blocking pads. Morgan claims that at the insistence of Beck’s cries to “hit her,” the other women tried to dislodge the ball from Morgan’s hands.

Yes, I remember this. There is a thread on it somewhere. If I remember right, it turned into quite the squabble. Maybe even ended up in a lock.

 
I actually had heard about this, just can't remember how long ago it was. I remember thinking it was a joke when it came out too, but then the more I read about it I just couldn't believe it.

 
And the last I heard, the clinic was permanently suspended. Thanks from everyone Beverly.

Hadn't the clinic raised quite a bit of money for charity as well? And wasn't the amount she was suing close to the total amount the foundation had raised from the clinic?

A 66 year old woman going to football camp? I'd say she had brain problems before camp even started.
