Since we seem to be on the topic of "which would you rather have's", I'm curious as to how we, as Nebraska fans rate a blowout loss. Obviously none of us like to see a blowout loss, but there are essentially two types of blowout losses:

The blowout loss where the defense plays pretty well, but the offense is so anemic that it doesn't score a point and losses by 3 touchdowns (i.e. 21-0)

-OR-

The blowout loss where the offense plays really well, but the defense is so gaping that it doesn't prevent the other team from scoring and losses by 3 touchdowns (i.e. 56-35).

This poll would be better served in defining a blowout. Blowout losses suck no matter how many points you give up. At some point the amount of points the opponent scores becomes irrelevant.

I understand where you're coming from, but it always seems to me that there is more unrest at HB whenever we lose 56-35 rather than 21-0, no?

One looks worse than the other, but both count as a "L". Either way, they both suck.

Could be. I tend to ignore a lot of the posts when either happens. :D

i try to too, but it's all just compelling. The people who come out of the woodwork to say, "HA! I knew it! I'm da best!"
