LeBron/Kobe/MJ

MJ kinda has a point.

And Parker had a lovely double dribble to win Game 1.

LeBron is 28. He has a decade left to finish his legacy. Love him, hate him, I don't care. If he could win this title, he can win against anyone. A grueling season that included the longest winning streak in the modern era of the NBA, making every night a playoff game for Heat, going up against a Spurs team that was just on fire, and had a week and a half to prepare with one of, if not the, best coach in the NBA today, right after an absolute dog fight against Indiana.

I just don't think you are much of a basketball fan if you don't enjoy what he is doing on the court.

Stumbled upon this Larry Bird video. It's pretty entertaining. He's proof that you don't have to be a superior athlete to succeed in Basketball. At least back then you didn't have to be.

I remember hearing a few times about (not sure if true or not), any time the opposing team would sub in a white player Larry Bird would throw a fit and start chirping at their coach, "What are you doing? This guy can't guard me. Get a black player out here to guard me."

One of the greats, for sure. Nowhere near GOAT though. Not even top 10.

I don't know, I'd probably put him close to the top 10. It's a tough choice. They guy was a hell of a player, just not flashy and athletic.

His rings and MVP awards are his biggest claim to greatness; if you actually look at the numbers and statistics, he's not nearly as memorable or elite. But he had a lot going on that can't be measured.
