Tennessee is about the only school that can pull off the BFBS - black for black's sake. And even then, they should only do it for the halloween game.

New rule change:

8. Player Uniform Numerals Must Contrast With the Color of the Jersey:
The color of the jersey number itself must be clearly and obviously in contrast with the jersey, regardless of any border around the number. For example, teams will not be allowed to wear black numbers on black jerseys with a border of a bright color around the numeral; it must clearly contrast with the jersey in and of itself.

This rule makes this uniform illegal:

Doubt it gets enforced. Technically, our alternates with the 'N' and the small numbers was a violation last year as well.

What does last year have to do with a rule that is new for this year?

That is an example of a minor uniform rule that was violated without being enforced last year, to show that it is likely that new minor uniform rules will continue to be violated without being enforced.

It wasn't a rule last year that I'm aware of. This is a new rule for this season. Therefore, last year's uniforms were not violating the rule because the rule didn't exist till now.
