I just can't believe how emotionally unstable some people are on this board. I have had my moments too but this game showed me more positives than negatives.

Here's the thing, since I am more rational now than I was earlier. I agree, there were plenty of positives. The score is not indicative of the defense's performance today, they were outstanding. The offensive line played the best they did all year. Abdullah was a beast.
It's just that...it's so damn frustrating that the one time the team is honestly clicking on all cylinders in a big game, something seems to completely go wrong, in this case, turnovers.

I find it amazing that so many people seem content after a blowout loss on national TV....again. 12 years ago a double digit loss would never have had any good feelings attached. My how the mighty have fallen.

This wasn't truly a blowout loss. We were competitive in this game up until the last 6 minutes, at which point were were just gassed.

Points determine weather a loss is a blowout, and this was 13 points. The only reason it wasnt a 20 point loss in the book is a junk time score. They were gassed because they were on the field all the time, 38:37 TOP for MSU.

A game is 60 minutes long. A score is a score. Just like people say a win is a win. This was not a blowout and was way closer than the score. How are those sour grapes tasting?

The score is what freaking matters! So a loss is a loss. And this was a bad loss. On national broadcast TV. Sour grapes? I guess I don't like the taste of a loss. We get ELIMINATED from the division race and you are desperately searching for positives? A single win vs a team with a winning record.

Because its what you are suppose to do. Seriously what does negativity contribute to anything? What a bunch of garbage. This team is totally improving and it goes unseen because it hasn't translated into a big win yet, especially when this team is littered with injuries and youth. I just don't understand the mindset of the above.

NO! god no. Texas is our kryptonite. This season is bad enough without losing to texas over the holidays.

What game were you watching...my expectations were low and I still got disappointed. Hell I barely complained and it wasn't until the 4th turnover! And I only complained at the media for talking about MSU's dominant "as advertised" defense!
More positives than negatives? It's the same $hit we see each year. Slop. A little less at times and then a lot more at others. Our HC understands that we're sloppy and don't execute but has no clue how to solve the mystery.
