Darlington is the QB in this class. Getting a JT type guy is the only thing I could see us doing.Darlington has a speech impediment from his concussions. The thought process of not taking one because you have Armstrong and Stanton is also silly considering both have had health issues regarding their knees. Odds are not that good on Darlington ever playing football again. So now we will sit with a Soph and Freshman QB to run our offense next season both of who have had knee problems.
He'll get a chance.I think you want to take a QB every class. If Darlington is a significant risk to never play again, we don't have a QB in this class. That seems like a problem.
I'm sure the university would love to put the kid at risk. Good god if he gets a concussion at NU it could permanently mess him up. Perhaps he would lose his speech etc. No way you take that chance IMO I sure as heck wouldn't put a kid in that situation.
