When is average not good enough anymore?

COMING OUT for a play here and there to rest is one thing. purify plays about every 3rd or 4th play WHY??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

 
Taylor keys in on him too much the way it is. Spreading the ball around just makes our offense that much more dangerous.

 
ZT has been looking his way more and more, but it looks like they are trying to get Swift involved more, which is great imo. But what has happened to Hardy? Last year he had the dropsies, then this year it was fixed and he had that huge game against KU, and since then nothing.

hardy had the dropsies again ok state he cant concentrate on fb when his gf is a playmate of the month

Isn't it a factor of the weakness of the defense you are playing, plus the QB faith that a ball will be caught. Each defense will have a different weakness, and each preceiver will have a different experience in coverage. It's up to the QB to get it to the open guy. Some guys get open more against a certain defense than others will.

I prefer mixing it up. Maybe next game it will be Swift and Hardy with Nunn getting blanked.

I think that's why they call it a receiving corps.

 
Agree with Everything except your problems with Ruud. He makes open field tackles, and is easily our best Coverage Linebacker. We need him for 3rd and long when we know they are passing, Because all Octavian can do is inflict pain to everything in his way on a blitz. As much as i love that style of play, its not what we need on 3rd and long, unless we are positive he can split the gaps and make a play. Coverage is as important as blitzing being a LB, believe it or not.
