**** What Did We Learn ****

Nothing just when the Bo haters are on the cusp of having there dream sequence happen . . .

Something they keep talking about on the radio. Nebraska now has 6 seasons in a row with at least 9 wins. There's only two other teams who share those statistics right now: Auburn and Oregon.

Despite it being a rather pointless stat, it makes me realize even moreso that things are NOT bad in this program.
Why do you say it's a pointless stat?

That Ross Els steals money from the University.

******* am I glad they won but there flat out needs to be staff changes.

Nebraska won 9 games, and in doing so won a January 1 bowl game and beat a ranked team, that just happens to be from the SEC, and may very well be the only winner from the Big 10. A lot to be happy about and proud of guys.

We learned that the Blackshirts got better towards the end of the season. The D-line even looked pretty good. I'm bullish on the Blackshirts in 2014!
Yep - we learned that Bo was right about the defense. Young, but with a HUGE upside. Should be salty next year if we can replace the departing members of the secondary.

I saw nothing bad the Huskers did in this game that can't be built on. Armstrong gets a full off season with the #1's is a good thing.

Randy Gregory basically flew in to Memorial Stadium and managed 10-1/2 sacks. Imagine what he will do after a year of S&C and weight gain.

We started a lot of Freshmen on the defense that made freshmen mistakes but grew as the year went by.

There are a lot of good things to look forward to next year.

Nebraska is 3-0 in bowl games in which the starting QB is not named Taylor Martinez during Bo's tenure.

1. Bo deserves some credibility for this win and the defensive turnaround this season.

2. Abdullah is the best back we've seen since Ahman Green.

3. We are going to miss Quincy Enunwa. (Spelling?)

4. WR need work with the hands.

5. QB's and receiving corps need to work together this off-season on timing. Coaches can't do everything for you.

6. Armstrong is a gamer.

7. Staff changes are needed. (See below)

8. This win was a huge boost for next season.

Beck is absolutely in way over his head. He has no idea how to manage the game. You don't call a play that can stop the clock on 3rd down like that. Run the ball.

A: It's four yards. You might pick up the first down.

B: Make them burn a timeout.

C: You burn another 40 seconds off the clock.

Special Teams are an absolute disaster. Hand the responsibility off to someone else.

TE's were disappointing this year. That needs to be evaluated.

This team has a ton of talent coming back next year. We are a consistent offense and cleaner special teams away from being a top 10 team.

Georgia coaches are idiots? I learned that.

Why not take the 3 points when you are in the red zone on fourth down with 5 min left?? I dont understand that at all. Then all of a sudden on the last drive ur wondering why you need a td?? Field goal there and you wouldve won the game.

i'd be furious if I was a georia fan.... idiots.
kicking a field goal there is horrifyingly bad. like really really bad. and probably 60% of coaches would still do it because they don't understand the probabilities and the analytics

1. For a second, we were about to go an entire season w/o beating a ranked team.

2. Ready for Marcus Newby and Courtney Love's appearance next year

3. Randy needs to get stronger, i wish he can hit 265 lbs by the start of the '14 season

4. We still gave up over 400 yards (320 yds in the air), need to work on adding speed to the DB position by next season

5. Team was very disciplined today, only 1 TO, not by Ameer.

6. O-line did great. Wish those seniors well

7. Thad Randle played his butt off. Watch the film of him vs Minn and him today and you will notice a massive difference. Hope he lands somewhere in the NFL

8. Offensive play calls were mediocre, but i'll take the win
