Probably not, but it would be an attempt at stopping the madness.

If we did that, the vote would be held via PM, and only the five panelists and I would know the results.

 
It sucks people get this way over e-peen. Maybe look at the past lineups and "graduate" those that have been starters for the past 'X' years. Would give some fresh faces better opportunity to make the team, and maybe give the graduated members a special avatar or title thing that goes above the avatars. (i.e. Wizard of Osborne/Legend/etc)

Hmm.....

Now that's an idea, GMT. Never thought of something like that. Could make it voluntary, too.

Basically we would make a Hall of Fame, I guess. Is that kinda what you're saying?

What we should do is make all of the current year's team ineligible for next year's, and then after the voting of next year's team, have a Huskerboard Flag Football Championship during the annual spring game tailgate to determine bragging rights.

 
I think it would be a good idea to either volunteer to bow out or be put out to pasture after a couple of years of being on the squad. I mean, this is only my first year and I couldn't see myself being on more than a couple more years if the voters chose it that way.

Also, has the idea of the Peso ever been brought up for a position?

 
People who campaign shouldnt get voted in because it makes you look sad.

I dont want to get in because i begged for the spot.

If you want to be rewarded, trying bringing something to the table. If you dont get nominated, it just means you are an awful poster that no one likes... or in my case, people are just totally jealous of me.

 
I knew this would happen. I cracked the glass ceiling and have officially been in the starting lineup for one day and the talk of disbanding the whole shootin match begins. I'm bad luck, you guys.

 
You could also make this years Offensive starters ineligible for an offensive positions, and the same for those on the Defense.

 
We could have a campaigning thread. Campaign all you want in there - anywhere else you're automatically out. That thread would be gold.

But I like the idea of being "moved to the front office" after being in for 3-4 years.

 
I say we elect captains and pick teams like the schoolyard. Fat kids and nerds go last.
