Everyone drooling over Clowney at the combine - and he's definitely an athletic freak. But surely some of theses guys saw how relatively poor he performed on the field last year, right?

Exactly. Total lack of effort. But I'd say if he interviews well and teams get a good sense that he wants to be a great NFL player and is willing to put in the work, I'd probably take him #1. He's a total freak.

But then again Houston needs a QB, so...

 
"Funny" in a pathetic way (vis Deadspin):

A Texas high school girls' regional final ended in controversy Saturday when referees, apparently unable to decide the conditions under which a late foul occurred, ran out of the gym and declared the game over.
With five seconds remaining in double overtime, Argyle led Celina 51-50. But a Celina player was fouled while attempting a buzzer-beating three for the win, and at least one official blew his whistle. You can see the full sequence of events here:

I was just going to post this. WTH refs? That wasn't even close

 
Geez. Dwight Howard can't even stop a grade school kid. How do the Rockets expect to win a title with defense like this?
