B1G Investigating Friday Games & November Night Games

What school would be willing to do a night game in November with us?
Fellow conference programs wouldn't have a big problem with night games since all of them are northern schools also. If you are talking southern schools....not a chance.

Night games gives any program the chance to be on prime time and the Big Ten has been horrible at promoting itself in prime time primarily due to this rule.

And.....actually very rarely is the weather really that bad in November.

This is not bad weather to play football in even if you are from a milder climate.

Florida doesn't play non-con games outside of the state of Florida anyway, no matter what time of year it is!

2017 vs Michigan in Arlington, TX

OK....I have gone back to 2002 and I have not found one non-con game they have played outside Florida. Maybe I missed one but I don't think so.

I find it funny that the one they did schedule was still in the south, in a dome and at a neutral field.

Aaahhhh....the SEC non-con scheduling.

I figured that's what you were doing but it stoked my interest.

Any SEC school traveling north for a November night game WILL NOT happen. They would literally freeze by the end of quarter 1. Meanwhile the Big Ten school would be enjoying a nice cool breeze.

You have a point but the real reason they won't do it is because November is when they schedule their sacrificial lamb game against the Savannah States while every other conference is bashing each other's brains in.

Wow...I went back to 2002 looking at LSU's non-con schedule since I have a brother that is an LSU fan and I always enjoy ammo against them.

Away games during that time:

'07 Tulane.....Hmmmm....what state is that in? Really....that's considered an away game?

'05 Ark State.......cup cake game still in SEC foot print

'03 Arizona....Decent away game but.....over 10 years ago?

'02 Virginia Tech.....Decent but still in SEC footprint.

What a joke..

Hey Savannah State is an absolute power in their conference! Uh Savannah State always plays em tough and plays up to em. Ummmmmm..........OH the SEC is so tough that by the time they play Savannah State they are sooo tired and need a break.

That about cover the excuses SEC fans make that justify Alabama murdering an FCS school?
