Top Offensive Triple Threat

Top offensive triple threats: #B1G West: Nebraska: QB Tommy Armstrong Jr., RB Ameer Abdullah, WR Kenny Bell http://es.pn/1h7JB5F

This got me wondering if we will instill the sweep into our offense this season (especially if TA is running it) or was this a wrinkle only for the Gator Bowl?
It's instilled. In a practice video couple weeks ago something like 5 of the first 6 plays incorporated a jet sweep action.

Link? This is good news, IMO. It was ran well during the Gator Bowl, and with the number of RB and speedy slot receivers we have been recruiting, it should continue to work with good to great success.

I'm just glad Auburn has a lot of success with it this year, otherwise we probably wouldn't have put it in.
Surprised we did not see more of the sweep after Wisconsin in the CCG and Minnesota last year ran it with such effectiveness against us.

Id just be happy to see it practiced by our offense so our defense has a clue on how to maybe defend it

Don't get too excited guys.

Remember our offense against Georgia in the Capital One Bowl the year before? It was deadly and effective and got people the ball in space but we failed to see it most of the next season. We saw some good flashes in the MSU game, but we all know how that turned out.

I can't find it now but there was a practice video with several sweep action plays with several different guys involved. If I can find it I'll post it again.

I think that not having a QB may have had something to do with that. I could be wrong, Beck may have gone Watson on us.

Anyhow, I fail to see the triple threat.hope I'm wrong.

We didn't see it in the Southern Miss, Wyoming or UCLA games either.

Or the opposing defense may have noticed they were being exploited and made the proper adjustment.

That's what a lot of defenses do. Nebraska's defense, not so much.

But that may be changing. Which is good. Because offense hasn't been the big problem.

Yeah, that's the good stuff. Thanks, Mav. BTW, Stanton puts some zip in those throws.
