Actual Spring Practice Updates

Dammit Moss. You could be the guy who makes it so we "don't have to guess" who the best D front will be.

Nonetheless, I'm stoked and jacked that our D line looks so promising. The better the Pelini D Line is, historically, the better the D is.

Mark it---barring injury, we will be top 9 in D this yr nationally.

DIdnt they say this a lot last year too, during the spring?
As I recall, there was a lot of talk about the athleticism we had and that it could lead to a much better defense. I think that happened, but it took several games to get it together. Now we have the majority of those guys back plus a few more. But the huge difference, imo, is that most everyone has experience this year, whereas we were very green last year.

So is Curry the odd man out then on the D Line? Gregory-Collins-Valentine-McMullen is what it sounds like from all the spring updates.
I don't think i'd call him the odd man out. We need 4 DT's at least to rotate to keep them fresh.
Agree. Valentine and Collins seem to have the lead at DT for now but Maurice and Curry will both get plenty of playing time. Especially if Collins ends up playing some DE from time to time.
