Had this over the weekend:

Smelled skunky. Tasted skunky. Maybe I just got a bad one.

Tried Thundrhead Brewings - Leatherhead Red Lager. Wasnt really blown away.

I think all of the Thunderhead brews I've tried in Kearney are not very good at all. They try way too hard to make their beers interesting but end up ruining it.

I like good, strong flavors much of the time, but Thunderhead needs to practice some restraint and learn the fine art of subtlety.

Anyone ever tried a Black and Blue (Guiness/Blue Moon)? Had it reccomended to me. and FYI Guiness/Yuengling makes a great Black and Tan. Ulty Im really sorry to hear you didnt like their cusom Black and Tan, I really enjoyed it.

So you just mix Guiness and Blue moon together? Or, does this come premixed?

Crescent Moon in Omaha has Lugene's Chocolate Milk Stout on nitro.

Lugene's is money. love that stuff.

Drinking a home brewed pilsner at my desk right now. A little weak for my tastes but still good. Gonna drink a maibock next.
