I hate that each year, now, I am thinking "Oh man, Wisky will be a tough game" or "Why is the line vs Minny only -9.5" or "That Iowa game could be a tough one"

I am so stuck, at times, in the mid-late 90's way of thinking where the lines were always in the 20's or 30's or taken "off" by the local bookie.

I am stuck, wanting to think "I will just leave at halftime because the game will be such a blowout"

-Being more interested in showing up a reporter in the Cornhusker than beating an unranked Texas in 2010.

-being completely unprofessional and refusing to apologize for his actions after the Iowa game--only to apologize later (Conviction!)

-the proud owner of the worst home loss in NU history.

-complete neglect in crucial aspects of his job (recruiting, having a competent punt return team)

The 2012 B10 Championship game probably is the worst loss in the history of Husker football......I mean Callahan being down 35 at home to Okie Lite in 2007 with fans filing out in droves wouldn't come close to Pelini's uncountable embarrassments.
so that makes it alright then? because we happened to have a terrible coach before bo? that is the standard? just do not be the worst.

and, frankly, the 2012 B1G championship is still probably the worst loss. there was no excuse for that.

as far as this thread, here is my list:

1. the blowout losses

2. regularly losing to teams we should not lose to.

3. a few other things that are not a big deal except for the cumulative effect.

Polo/Sker/Landlord,

Neither of you guys are going to change the others opinion. Nothing positive comes from this for either side. Each hate the comment made by the other and stands their ground. We have some good things, we have some bad things, and we have some things both sides would like to see change. The one main thing is that we all love the Huskers. Your not a better fan because you love Bo, your not a better fan because you hate him. This team needs to be united, work together, and as fans we need to do the same. We have given Bo 6 years, he has at least one more. I would like to see us all try our best to do the best for the team. A united front for the year, then if things are not in step, we will most likely realize it.

Your apologist attitude is holding the program back.

Bo's got plenty of support already. It's been proven he has a longer leash than any coach since Devaney here, I don't think more rope is the solution for him.

Huh?Peddy, OSU says hello!
And Mizzou vs NU in 08 waves hi right back.
Losing to the #4 team in the nation at the time. Meh.
Losing to an unranked team on homecoming(the gimmie you schedule for it). Ouch.
That mizzou loss sucked (first time we lost at home to them in 30+ years).

But, they were an infinitely better team than the 3-3 Okie State team that was up 38-0 at halftime on homecoming.

52-17 vs 42-14 (?) was what I was after. Either way, yes Ok st was really bad.
So Bo doesn't have the worst home loss?
Thanks Polo!

You think he's getting more leeway than Callahan (2 losing seasons in 4) and Solich (ran #1 program in the country into the ground)?

Pray tell. I'd love to see this story.
