Max Pirman Not Returning to Huskers

Nebraska tight end Max Pirman will not return to the football program for the 2014 season.

The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Pirman was originally part of Nebraska’s 2011 class and was recruited as a linebacker, but moved to tight end after being unable to break through the logjam at linebacker last year. An NU official confirmed Pirman won't be back this fall. Pirman didn't appear in a game during his NU career.

It will be interesting to see. They usually don't give scholarships to underclassman walk-ons unless they are starters (Spencer Long and Burtch) but I could see Reilly and Foltz get consideration.
