-So Eric Crouch has joined the "tangible championship" bandwagon, such as it is. Either way, I think it's becoming more and more obvious that "winning time" is now for this team and staff. Not next year.
He also weighed in on the QB situaish,

"But really, the job is not solidified," Crouch said. "It's a lot different when you have the starting quarterback name-tag on your back and you have to go out and perform well."

This is kind of a muddled comment is it not? I mean, I could get the job isn't solidified, and I think we all agree a real competition only helps Armstrong and Stanton, but didn't Tommy not have the starter tag on his back last year? Or was getting spelled by Kellogg a disqualifier? Either way I think Tommy's the starter until, well until he isn't.

I don't think there is any question as to how winning a ccg would set the things in motion that we all are hoping for but the fact that Crouch is "saying it", has no more meaning than anyone else!

As for the starting QB comments, I don't care who starts as long as whoever is in there is the best we have available. TA by definition would be considered the starter from last year since he took over for TM.

I think there is a large contingent of fans quite excited about this year.

 
So if Nebraska played its heart out, got to the CCG at 12 - 1, lost a close one to a ranked Big 10 foe and finished with a BCS bowl win, that would be unacceptable?

And if you wouldn't accept a season like that, what do you think should happen next?
