Voting has begun to help celebrate 125 Seasons of Husker Football! Fans submitted their favorite pieces of Husker memorabilia for consideration in this unique contest. Our panel selected 32 of the most interesting submissions, but the Grand Prize will be determined by YOU!

The opening round will determine the seeding and which submissions from each region advance to the Sweet 16 for head-to-head match-ups. The Devaney Region finalist will face the Osborne Region finalist to determine who will face the winner of the Modern versus Old School regions for a shot at the Grand Prize.

Fans can vote below using Facebook or Twitter, or you can submit your vote by emailing us atGoBigRed@huskers.com. Voting for the opening round will last until July 1st.

The Grand Prize Champion will receive the 125th Season Celebration Prize Pack that includes two corporate sideline tickets to Saturday's 8 p.m. Homecoming Game against Illinois on September 27th. The winner also will receive a two-night stay at Lincoln's downtown Holiday Inn and a Misty's gift card (travel and airfare not provided).

Hello Huskerboard members,

Huskers.com is celebrating 125 years of Husker Football with a contest called Huskers 125 Memorabilia Collection. I had submitted a photo of my fathers Husker belt buckle collection he started back in 1983. He's not a cowboy at all nor have I ever seen him wear a belt buckle but he started collecting them because of the artwork that goes into these belt buckles. He's got a belt buckle for every season plus one for every National Championship and the two bowl games he went to. He has two belt buckles that have gold in it that both worth $700 a piece (two white ones in the bottom of the picture by Tom Osborne's signature). Heres the link to go vote

This may not be the best place to post this thread but I know a lot of people visit this part of the board the most so I was hoping that this could stay in here until the voting is over if that's ok. I would love to win the grand prize for my father so I could give something back to him for what he's done for me. I would love to go with him but my fiancée's brother is getting married on that day. Any help would be greatly appreciated whether you vote, pass this along to friends or family, or both. Again I appreciate all the help and there's already some tuff competition out there. Is this HuskerBoard or a bunch of pansies? Jock's dad is losing right now. Go frikkin' vote.

 
I just voted in this again, and Jock's dad's total went up from 10% to 11%, meaning there are very few votes in this thing, and if everyone reading this thread went and voted, they'd likely be in the lead.

So why aren't you helping out? Go vote.

 
It's ok Knapp I don't expect people to vote everyday. I'm now down to 9% and sitting in 4th. It ends next Tuesday and as long as I finish within the top 4 I'll move on to the next round
