I've seen people saying either way at this point.

It was "all but a done deal" with Norvell and ISU too.

Not saying it isn't right, but I haven't heard squat.

Guys on Scout.com's UNC board are saying something about Randy Jordan maybe following Blake to UNC. Anyone hear anything about that?

Another husker fan posted that Rivals radio is reporting Blake to UNC as a done deal. No word on what position he'll take.

Even if it's for DC, I don't see that as a step up. You have a better title, but it's at UNC.

maybe a bigger paycheck, a better title and the chance to turn around a perennial ACC basement dwellling football team.

i don't like it either, but it's all experience. he's worked with jimmy johnson, barry switzer, callahan and, if this is true, butch davis.

he wants the big chair, but i honestly think he got it too quick when he took the reigns at OU. this is one more step closer to his ultimate goal.

nothing is final yet. let's jus hope coach blake steps back and thinks, "hmm... national championship with Nebraska is three years..? i'll stay!"

Callahan said in his presser today he has no knowledge about Blake going to UNC nor is he aware of Blake being contacted by UNC which if it did happen without permission, the proverbial fecal matter hitting the spinning air deflection device would happen.

Cally confirmed Norvell was being contacted by another school (ISU)... haven't heard that re: Blake.

So, at this point, I'm not worrying yet. I think the next position Blake takes is a HC. Didn't UNC just hire someone... Butch Davis?
