You have to think that an overwhelming majority of these wins come from conference play, right (and to a much lesser extent, bowl games)? So not sure what to make of the numbers when looked at that way. Unless I'm missing something, which I certainly might be.

If your talking about Bo, you are correct,

Bo's Big 12 record against Conference Top 25 teams is 4 - 6, 2 of the losses being the Big 12 championship games against Texas and Oklahoma. As for Big 10 record against Conference Top 25 teams, its 3 - 4, 1 being the loss to Wisconsin in the Big 10 Championship game.

As for his Non-Conference Top 25 record, Bo is 2 - 4. Those 2 wins coming from bowl games. Bo Pelini has never won against a non-conference Top 25 team during the regular season. But then again, disregarding the bowl games, Bo has played the Huskers against 24 non-conference games, and only 3 of them the opponent was ranked in the Top 25. UCLA being two of them.

Actually this is incorrect. Bo's record is 9 - 16.

The record is correct at 9-14 using the AP poll from the article, Virginia Tech wasn't ranked in 2008, neither was UCLA in 2012.

So Saban and Stoops are the studs. We can easily turn our record around by adding a S. Bo Spelini. Nat'l championship here we come. Do it for the team Bo!!!!

The only times we've played ranked OOC opponents have been:

2009 Va Tech - Loss

2009 Arizona - Win

2010 South Carolina - Loss

2012 Georgia - Loss

2013 UCLA - Loss

2013 Georgia - Win

Not sure where you're getting the extra 2 from but it's inaccurate.
