Please don't f#*k this up, defense
I'll draw you a picture next time.Deleted. Made no senseYanno......if any of you were actually old enough to see any of our old teams, you'd comprehend what her just said. This new mentality of going for the knockout with the pass first instead of beating them down with a heapin' helpin' of body shots is why this team will never see any consistent success. We'll never be able to recruit the type of talent to be an elite team under the current airball philosophy...... ever. That's for the USC's and Florida schools where they can get those type of players on a consistent basis.Not if you run read option and leave one guy unblocked, or run counter and change the point of attack.There lining up 5 guys on the line it's tough to run it
With 5 offensive lineman, Armstrong, and Ameer vs 5 defends in the box that is 7 on 5. If you read one of the lineman it now becomes 7 on 4. Beck just needs to stay committed to the running game, but he won't.
Tim Beck still has a lot of questions he needs to answer after this performance.
WordAmeer did not get the ball enough today. Today was a great example of beck trying to be fancy and not playing our game. Thankfully we pulled it off
The only question he needs to ask is "paper or plastic". His answer should be, my things will be gone by SundayTim Beck still has a lot of questions he needs to answer after this performance.
after we win this game, we will see a lot of people talk about how every team has a down game. it is not indicative of anything. not the first time neb. has been here (that will be an argument, for some reason), let the young team grow... etc.<circle jerk comment><who could possibly do better>guys, remember when everyone thought polo was an bad guy? i think this is what he was worried about. because this is not the first time we have seen this.
<nine wins>
Polo was right. More people see it all the time . . . but there is a sizable contingent who will never admit it . . . even after Bo is gone.Tommy Armstrong grows up before our very eyes. In an inspiring drive, Tommy ArmstrongWith his signature Heisman run Ameer Abdullah leads the Red Storm offense 60 yards for a go ahead touchdown drive. This was probably a turning point in the Pelini era and we can expect big things in a few years. -Steven Sipple
