I guess you could say I'm just a student of the game. I'm gettin into coaching myself, though as a very small level. But I just like to understand the game. I like to be able to see things and see why somethign works or doesnt. And in the heat of the moment watching it live, it just doesnt happen.Count,
How do you have time for that? I wish I could do that.
Yea man. I don't care to hide behind a name. I'm at Wood River. Assistant though. I am not a teacher though, yet. Still working on it at UNK.No problem Coach Power T. May I ask where you coach or No?I got to it. I just had to open it in YouTube. Thanks for posting
Awesome man, it must be a tremendous opportunity to work with the kids! Are you more offensively minded or defensive, a little of both???Yea man. I don't care to hide behind a name. That gives me something to shoot for. I would have to learn how to do that. As of right now that is beyond my abilities. I know for me, I don't have the Luxury of BTN.So you did a "BTN in 60" version of the game? When I read your OP I was thinking you went through and highlighted the critical point or players on each play. LOL! Now that would have been a lot of work.
I don't know if you have BTN but they do what you did here for almost every game, including this MSU game.
Unrelated, but I've read a few times NU didn't have a sack in that game, and I've even seen it listed in the game stats that way too, but at 3:19 in the 3rd quarter Collins and McMullen sack Connor Cook. (41:29 in your video edit).
I agree. If Armstrong is able to complete those throws in the flats (the ones that had room to pick up 4-5 yards) don't you think it eventually leads to more room in the middle for AA???Man it was painful to watch Abdullah get stuffed over and over.
Absolutely! I love it! I am have always been geared more offensively. However I'm starting to become a little like my Pop. He was/is a defensive guy as a coach.Awesome man, it must be a tremendous opportunity to work with the kids! Are you more offensively minded or defensive, a little of both???Yea man. I don't either. I have watched many NFL calls go the way of the Quarterback that were much much MUCH more questionable than this one. Of course, we are not talking about the NFL here... To me, when watching, I said nope. Forward motion of the arm, easy call, incomplete pass. Even when Armstrong's arm was hit by the helmet had the strength to hang on through the throw. Horrible call.I still don't understand how the play at the 35 minute mark is called a fumble.
Do more videos please!
I often spend time talking about what happened on a certain play and would love to reference the actual play. I love spending time looking at what happened and who did or didn't do what on a play or why a play didn't work or did work.
Also, game to game. That's heaven for guys like me!
Anyway, keep them coming. Good stuff.
Hey cg_8, I will do my best my friend GBR!
You know, I don't feel as though we were dominated to the degree that I initially thought (and consequently how everyone else seems convinced), especially going through the process of trimming this game down. If we didn't make half of the mistakes (unforced or otherwise) we made...we win that football game. Without doing those two point conversions that all failed (not blaming Bo, becuase if they worked we would be calling him a gutsy genius). We come down the field and AT LEAST get 3 to tie the game AND let me ask you... Who had the momentum at the end of the game prior to the interception?!?! (which I might add should have been reversed due to recievers route progression being impeded beyond the 5 yard mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsExbyIQLWs&list=UUwFRVWw4g96gFI__fNMSsBg#t=3651)Well that successfully pissed me off. We should have definitely won that game.
Tommy, you best play like a god the rest of the year. If the line is playing bad and Ameer cant get loose, its on you to make good decisions. Flawless this week in Evanston and here on out.
