***** What did we learn - Northwestern Edition *****

I learned that they actually practiced the right stuff. Whether they can get the right players on the field to do the right stuff is anybody's guess. A worthless first half and a great second half...what does that mean? I don't know??

Armstrong did well, even when we were freaking out. Swing passes were a struggle but kept care of the ball. Ameer is a beast, defense tore it up 2nd half.

Really liked the change on right side of offensive line. Wanna drag a$$? Drag it on over to the bench. Also thought Gangwish and K.Williams brought some much needed energy back to D-line.

I can't help but wonder how many INT's we'd have now if the DB's actually bothered to look back at the QB now and again. I thought Bo's philosophy was to play the ball not the receiver?

I just finished watching the Brook Berringer feature on BTN and everything else seems so insignificant right now.

It was a great win today. This team's fun to watch.

Agreed. I'll show my disappointment in the things I saw tonight later. For now I just gonna take a step back after that Berringer feature.

Kenny B was a little off tonight. I liked his over all effort and his blocking down field as always. Would like to have seen Westercamp get a couple more touches in front of the home crowd. Tommy A had a great game! His vision was much much better this game. He is growing and that is scary for our offense.

The "backups" on the O-line shouldnt backup anymore.

Not only were they out there for big runs, but they were the ones creating the big gaps.

new right side of the pipeline played with passion.

D looked good all game, but great n the 2nd half. Still too many moments where they cant get enough pressure on the QB.. but still good.

There is no such thing as cruise control for the Huskers. The way Northwestern moved the ball on long drives in the first half, Nebraska needed to come out strong in the second half. The run game took over. Great. But for all those saying that NU is in the west driver's seat...hold on. It's one week at a time. There will be big moments vs Rutgers. Got to just stay the course. If this team gets ahead of itself...a loss will follow.
