Those who attended the game, reflctions on the crowd?

I was watching highlights on the local news and players and coaches reflected on the crowd. They were saying at least half the stadium was RED!!! Huskers chant could be heard on tv.

Does this match the Notre Dame invasion a decade ago?

We played there 2 years ago. It was less red this time.

Wasn't there, but it sounded like memorial stadium on tv when the called the BS pass intefence. I say when the visiting team out numbers the home team. The home team should be required to play the visitor fight song when needed.

Two things stood out - the boos on a PI call, and the "GBR" chants late in the game.

I would guess that it was split 50/50 between red and purple. 15 minutes before kickoff it was probably 75% red . . . Husker fans are used to showing up early. We headed into the stadium from the tailgate about an hour before kickoff and it looked like there were only a few hundred fans in the stands.

Nothing but positive things to say about NW fans . . . other than that Doug McDermott guy.

Wish I would have gone, but apparently my crew decided not to go. It's probably for the best, anyhow, i got a ton of stuff done around the house prior to the weather turning.
