*** The Official Rutgers Scarlet Knights Game Discussion Thread ***

The reason many of us on here are complaining is that it is not just about winning or losing the game, but HOW you play the game itself. Take this quote for instance from Tom Osborne in this 94 flashback article that was on HuskerExtra today: http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/2014/rutgers/flashback-muhammad-s-late-decision-helps-huskers/article_3195d4b9-d8fc-5829-ba73-7fc467afa93e.html

"Coach Osborne kept reminding us that win or lose, we want people to remember they just played the most physical team that they played all year when they played us."

It's the little things that count, which add up into being a dominant team. Nebraska is getting closer, but we are not there yet.

Lousy run by Tommy and we punt like wussies on 4th and 1.
it's one yard, line TA under center + FB + Cross, and thats 1st down...
And if we don't get it? Beck and Bo are morons................just saying.
no, because you're actually using someone to their potential...

would it make more sense to run Newby or Cross to the outside?
Newby, all day long, Cross doesn't have the speed laterally.
ding ding ding... thats it...

it's about using guys in proper scenarios....

So true....

Ohio State had Rutgers in the Shoe last week and never let Rutgers in it. Wisconsin never let Maryland in the game, Sparty never let Indiana in the game last week. You play sound from start to finish no matter the opponent, no matter the score. This slop at this point in the game is what we've grown used to the last few years. It's not about today, it's not about next week, it's about November 15th in Madison.

I don't think anybody was fooled by the qb draw there...
If Sterup actually blocks someone, it's a first down.
Ah...so Sterup got fooled by it....
